3:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Glen Williams , Halton Hills (View Map)

You are invited to celebrate the first steps along the path of the Credit Valley Trail (CVT).

The CVT will be a continuous 100-kilometre trail following the Credit River Valley, from the Hills of the Headwaters in Orangeville to Lake Ontario in Port Credit. The trail will connect people of all ages and interests to the beauty of nature, rich cultural experiences, Indigenous heritage and values, and the sacred, sustaining waters of the Credit River.

The ‘First Steps on the Path Celebration’ brings together CVT leaders, partners, and the community to reveal the official logo and offer a sneak peak of the CVT experience.

Join us in unique arts and culture programming to kick-off the Town of Halton Hills award-winning Culture Days.

Explore sections of the optimum trail route during guided walks. Learn about trail history including local built heritage, rich Indigenous history and diverse ecology of the Credit River Valley.

This is a rain or shine event. Dress for the weather.
