Teens participate in a four-day program to carryout environmental stewardship projects at different sites in the community.

Our Conservation Youth Corps (CYC) program provides a fun four-day outdoor environmental program for teen volunteers (14-18 years old).

Participants tackle environmental stewardship projects at different sites in the community and at our conservation areas. Volunteers will be supervised and mentored by CVC staff during the planned activities. Each day brings a new experience. The program runs for eight weeks during the summer.

Week 1:

Mandatory training day:

Wednesday, Jul 7 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (you will also be required to complete 2 hours of self-directed accessibility training)

Volunteer days:

Jul 8 – Glendale Public School and Chris Gibson Park in Brampton

Jul 9 – Fletcher’s Creek, Brampton

Jul 10 – Limehouse Conservation Area, Limehouse

** Participants must be able to get to all locations to sign up for this volunteer week. If you are unable to get to any of these locations, please leave the space open for another students. **

Note: registration is limited to 20 students per week.
