Conservation Parks Day

Free general admission
Join us on June 9th to celebrate Conservation Parks Day. Come explore together and enjoy FREE general admission at all CVC and TRCA parks (excluding Black Creek Pioneer Village and Kortright Centre for Conservation).
All CVC parks are free, with special activities at Island Lake and Terra Cotta Conservation Areas. Our lineup of FREE activities includes:
Island Lake CA
10:30-11:30am: Gentle flow yoga sponsored by Creek Side Clothing and Lole*
2-3pm: Gentle flow yoga sponsored by GoYoga Orangeville*
(*space is limited to 50 people. First come, first serve basis)
Terra Cotta CA
9-12:30 pm: 12 km guided Hike with the Toronto Bruce Trail Club
10:30 am: Bruce Trail information table
11-12:30 pm: 3 km guided Hike with the Bruce Trail Club
11 am: BBQ offered by Georgetown Lion’s Club
12 & 2 pm: Reptile education presentation with Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo
1-2:30 pm: 3 km guided Hike with the Bruce Trail Club
2:30/ 3:30/ 4:30pm: Interpretive Nature Sessions with Humans in Nature**
(** 30 minute sessions)
Visitors can register for Conservation Parks Day for a chance to win one of 10 one-year Conservation Parks ‘Family and Friends’ memberships.
Entries will be collected from May 9, 2018 to June 9, 2018.
