City of Mississauga One Million Trees Earth Day Tree Planting

Join Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) and the City of Mississauga at the One Million Trees Earth Day Celebration at Arbour Green in Ward 8! Gather your friends and family on Saturday April 21, 2018 for a morning of tree planting, stewardship and Earth Day activities. The event will go rain or shine. Please dress appropriately-you will get dirty! Closed toed shoes are required to participate in the event.

  • 9:00 a.m. – Registration starts
  • 9:15 a.m. – Nature walk and stewardship: join CVC for a nature walk along Sawmill Creek to enjoy the sights and sounds of spring. You will also have the opportunity to help care for trees planted by volunteers in past years!
  • 10:00 a.m. – Opening remarks followed by tree planting

A waiver form will be emailed to all participants in advance. Please bring a signed copy for each person participating on the date of the event. Refreshments will be provided; please bring your own travel mug or cup. Gloves and tools will be available but bring your own if you have them.
