Butterfly Blitz – Citizen Science Training Webinar
Sunday, May 24, 2020
About the program: Due to COVID-19, we’re now delivering this training online.
Join us for our second annual CVC Butterfly Blitz. This summer-long citizen science program is creating a watershed-wide inventory of butterflies in the Credit River Watershed. Individuals learn how to identify butterfly species in their neighbourhoods and backyards and contribute important data to the program.
Our online training session will provide information on how to use iNaturalist and how to take insect photography with a smartphone, as well as other helpful tips for your adventures ahead. Registration packages containing useful resources such as species checklists and maps will be available online.
May 24 sessions include:
- How to use iNaturalist
- Insect photography with a Smartphone
Please review the instructions and download the app (if you are using a mobile device) prior to joining the webinar to ensure the best experience.
