Burnside Buggy Tour at Island Lake

Take a tour on the Burnside Buggy to see the scenic trails at Island Lake Conservation Area!

Credit Valley Conservation in partnership with R.J. Burnside & Associates Ltd., are proud to offer tours for people that have mobility challenges.
The Burnside Buggy is covered, has a convenient ramp for easy access, and can accommodate up to two wheelchairs.
Tours will be offered in two convenient lengths, each route will take you on a section of the popular Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail.

Notice for rain dates will be given by 7:00 p.m. the evening before the scheduled tour.

  • Dress for the weather.
  • Bring a cushion if a wooden bench will be uncomfortable.
  • Shuttle can accommodate up to 12 people or

8 people and 2 wheelchairs.

  • Shuttle pick-up and drop-off will be at parking area “P4”, where restrooms are available.
