Brampton’s Nurturing Neighbourhoods: Northwood Park (Fletchers Creek SNAP)

Saturday, October 19, 2019

9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Chris Gibson Recreation Centre , Brampton (View Map)

City of Brampton’s 2040 Vision is coming to life!

Credit Valley Conservation is delighted to partner with the City of Brampton’s Nurturing Neighbourhoods Program. This program encourages residents to have meaningful conversations with the City – about what’s awesome, and what needs to change. Nurturing Neighbourhoods and CVC staff invite Fletchers Creek SNAP residents to a special event this fall.

The day will consist of:

• Meet and greet with City of Brampton staff, CVC staff and community stakeholders, and a chance to meet your neighbours;
• A walk in the neighbourhood to observe the built environment, mobility, public spaces and environment, arts and culture and safety;
• Presentations from staff and community stakeholders; and
• A Neighbourhood Workshop – an opportunity for attendees to physically map neighbourhood concerns, benefits and opportunities and discuss with their neighbours.
