Join us for the 19th Annual Belfountain Salamander Festival.  Come out to the beautiful historic hamlet of Belfountain and enjoy the fall colours, make new friends…bring the whole family!

Activities in the hamlet include:

  • Artisans’ and farmers’ market
  • Silent auction & bake sale
  • Live entertainment – music & dance
  • Squash and pumpkin growing contest
  • Hot breakfast with organic fair trade coffee
  • BBQ lunch, squash soup and more
  • Trash-free & earth-wise practices

Activities in the Belfountain Conservation Area include:

  • Free ‘Yoga in the Park’
  • Tie a fly with the Izaak Walton Fly Fishing Club
  • Kids Eco Zone Activity Centre
  • Electrofishing demos
  • Discover river critters

And don’t miss Creature Quest!  Come get up close & personal with a variety of mammals, reptiles and birds of prey in this interactive display of live animals in the Conservation Area.
