Ice Skating

Last chance for skating this season, skating is available in select locations until Sunday March 7. All activities and programs are subject to Covid-19 Public Health restrictions, please obey capacity limits to ensure we can continue to offer this service.
We monitor the conditions on the ice surface to provide a fun and safe outdoor skating experience. Benches are placed at the edge of skating surfaces to put on your skates. Things to remember about outdoor natural skating rinks:
Always check park advisories daily before you come, spring conditions will quickly change availability. Click the box below:
- Skating may not always be available due to warm conditions or snow fall
- Ice surfaces change with the weather and snow conditions
- Snow build up creates slushy areas and makes it impossible to clear until colder weather arrives
- Ice surfaces can be uneven and bumpy
- When skaters from different households are using the rink, everyone must wear a mask
Island Lake Conservation Area
The rink is available for a maximum of one hour each per user. Reservations are now finished for the season. Skating will be available on a drop-basis when conditions permit.

The rinks are available for a maximum of one hour each per user.
