Region of Peel Sustainable Transportation Strategy

Let your fingers do the walking and have your say as the Region of Peel develops its Sustainable Transportation Strategy (STS) to help build a safe, efficient, healthy transportation system for all users.
By 2041, Peel’s population is projected to grow by nearly 40%, increasing from slightly over 1.3 million people today to nearly 2 million people. The Region will face further increases in traffic congestion, infrastructure demand, health concerns and environmental issues unless it plans for a system that fully realizes the potential of walking, cycling, transit and carpooling to manage demand. The STS is being developed as a plan to encourage more people to choose these alternate types of travel.
You can help. Tell the Region about transportation issues that are important to you by taking this short, fun online survey: https://peelsts.metroquest.ca/ .
