Credit Valley Conservation Foundation (CVCF) holds its second annual Landscapes for Life Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept. 17, at the prestigious Blue Springs Golf Club in Halton Hills.
This annual event brings together more than 100 golfers that help CVCF raise money to support a proud tradition of enhancing and protecting the natural environment for present and future generations.
The cost of a foursome is $1,800 and includes breakfast, gourmet lunch, prize pack, green fees and cart rental. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and includes an optional warm up on the practice range. There is a modified shot gun start at 8:30 a.m.
The tournament package includes a hole-in-one challenge at the second hole and seventeenth hole. Participants have a chance to win a Professional Golf Association (PGA) national resort and spa vacation or a Fairmont Hamilton Princess Resort Bermuda vacation. Additional prizes of golf equipment, ski passes, and more will be awarded for closest-to the-pin and drop sheet challenges.
A gourmet lunch will be served at 2:30 p.m., followed by a live auction with great prizes including golf packages, and a silent auction with more than 30 prizes. There will also be raffles and draw prizes. Prize presentations will be held for first, second, third place teams and most honest team.
