Celebrating the Life of Peter Orphanos

Please join us to celebrate the life of Peter Orphanos

Sunday, April 21 – 9:30 a.m.

Peter Orphanos was a visionary leader and founder of Sierra Club Peel. His passing was a tremendous loss to the environmental community in the Credit River watershed. Peter had an intuitive understanding of what our natural environment will face in the years to come. He understood the value of a healthy environment to human health and our quality of life.

He leaves the lasting legacy of a healthier natural environment. He inspired us with his passion. He set the bar to which we all aspire.

Peter’s bold vision was to see the Credit River valley lands planted with trees and protected within the Greenbelt. Credit Valley Conservation Foundation’s Peter Orphanos “Credit Forever” Tree Planting Fund has been established to realize Peter’s vision, and will be officially launched at the celebration.

Please join us on Sunday April 21, 2013 to celebrate the life and remarkable achievements of Peter Orphanos.
