CVC’s recently-expanded head office in Mississauga is LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certified in gold. Some of the features of the new building include: carbon dioxide (CO2) sensors in meeting rooms and in general office areas to control ventilation, low-flow water fixtures, rain harvesting, lighting sensors and green power electricity. The building is heated by high efficiency condensing boilers and has a permeable parking lot that facilitates drainage. The grounds are also landscaped with native plants and trees.
